Hi, I'm Vigs.
I'm a motion designer. I make things move, build motion systems, and occasionally write code when After Effects refuses to cooperate.
I also build things with AI. Mostly random ideas I can't stop thinking about. Some are useful. Some probably didn't need to exist. But here we are.
Currently working at Zoho, Chennai. If you're curious, there's a little more about me. Or you can skip the story and check out my resume.
A minute of things I've animated.
Motion design, product videos, experiments, and a few projects that made me question why I didn't just use a still image.
Here's what I've been working on.
- Sequence ↗Work in progressDesktop app · Product design · DevelopmentIf you've worked with After Effects long enough, you've probably got project files, assets, renders, references, and about six folders called
final.I got tired of keeping track of everything manually, so I started building Sequence. It's a desktop app that keeps all the stuff around a motion project in one place. Still building it. Turns out making an app is a little more complicated than making a Figma mockup. - Chroma ↗Work in progressInteractive experiment · Color · Creative codingI was playing around with the idea of making a color picker. Then I started reading about how prisms split light, and somehow the whole thing turned into a different project.Chroma is an experiment where you can play with light, colors, and prisms. No hex codes. Just messing around to see what happens.
- Lab ↗Extensions · Scripts · ExperimentsI make a lot of little tools.Usually because I run into something annoying in After Effects, look for a solution, don't find one I like, and decide to make it myself. This is where I keep them. Extensions, scripts, automations, and other experiments. Some are useful. Some are still being debugged. We don't talk about those.
I spend a lot of time trying to understand how things work. Sometimes I write down what I find so I don't have to Google the same thing six months later.
What the heck is a WebSocket?Oct 9, 2026While building stuff, I kept running into this thing called a WebSocket. I had a vague idea of what it was. Vague enough that I probably shouldn't have been using it. Anyway, here's what I learned.
- More notes coming soon. I just need to finish writing them instead of starting another project.
No actual projects were rendered in the making of this game.
If you're working on something interesting, need a motion designer, or just want to talk about random ideas, feel free to reach out.
